 Hi my name is Petra and I am from East London in South Africa. I have had my thermomix for a couple of months and I am besotted with it. I do not like cooking but my machine has made such a difference to my life! I love trying out new and different recipes. The latest is making condensed milk for my cheese cakes.   I also would like to make cheese ( different  cheeses, like feta , cottage etc!), I would like to make some soap but have difficulty knowing what you use in Australia as we don't seem to have the same products here.  I look forward to trying more of your recipes and reading your blogs!

Welcome Petra.  Glad you are enjoying your TMX.

We have a few South Africans scattered amongst our membership so perhaps they will be able to help with suggestions where you are not sure what to use as a substitute ingredient.

Hi Petra, lovely that you joined us - welcome to the forum.  I love hearing from people who don't like cooking but find the TMX has turned their lives around - I don't know what it is about the machine that makes us want to cook.
