As I just wrote the last thread it gave me an idea for this one.
Are you an indoors or outdoors person?
I'd always rather be outside by choice, but I do enjoy being snug with a cosy fire on a nasty winter's day.
Have you changed over? Used to be one way and now the other or a bit of both?
Be great to hear your stories especially as for most of you on here your climate is very different to ours.
Thanks in advance DJ

I absolutely love being out side after winter and spring starts showing and the sun starts warming. I usually go crazy in the garden cleaning up, weeding, mowing, re planting etc.
But winter I prefer to be inside (great time to catch up on jobs inside)
But if I had a choice I would much rather be outside enjoying the sun.
Although I'm not keen on the heat in summer when it gets in the high 30s :)
-
I was actually thinking about this the other day DJ, and I realised that while I'm inside, I think I like it more than being outside, but as soon as I go outside, I realise how much nicer it is than being stuck inside :-))
-
I like to be inside cooking. The only time that I loved being outside was about 40 years ago when DH was doing his national service. I loved spending time in the veggie garden then, for some reason it always made me miss him less.
-
I've become an inside person these days - that could be because the computer and kitchen are in there ;)

Me too...
I like being outside in summer, sitting on the patio or by the pool.
-
As my user name suggests my two favourite activities are both indoor pursuits and I actually hate gardening ;D
-
I love gardening, once I get started I find it hard to stop, but it's the getting started that is my problem! I'm not a cold weather person, so it's in front of the fire for me at this time of year but, give me a 20 - 25 degree day and I love being outside and pottering about.
-
outside on the deck, or inside in the kitchen..
-
I wish I had an outdoor kitchen. That was fly-proof, weather-proof, spider-proof, nosy-neighbour-proof, stray-cat-proof....
;D ;D ;D
-
Great idea Amy.... :)
Outdoor kitchen that did its own dishes, and cleaned up, and restocked the pantry automatically.
We would still have to cook though..
-
I think we're on to something here Robyn... I can see the two of us being multi-millionaires with this idea ;)
-
Oh yes Amy, we could do it.
we could add another cooking machine too.
-
Absolutely :D
And I think we should make it a portable kitchen so we can take it around the world ;)
-
Yes Amy you'd all be welcome here
-
Lets travel the world to see everyone..

LOL they better watch out... :-))

LOL Amy and Obbie!! ;)
I prefer indoors but like outdoors too unless it gets too hot... my motto has always been 'if you are cold you can always put more clothes on, but you can't always take more off' :o

Thats one of my mottos too!!! Great minds think alike Astarra ;) ;) ;)
-
Take them off Astarra, I don't feel the cold, so I wear tank tops all the time.
-
Would much rather be too warm that too cold.
Is that because our climate is much colder than yours?
-
Probably DJ :-)) I can't stand being hot. I'd rather be a bit chilly than sweaty (unless I'm working out) ;D
-
With working outdoors most of the time I have been really really cold a few times in my life. Not pleasant. And sometimes you wear so many clothes that it makes it difficult to work.
Prefer warm climate, love to wear T shirt & long shorts.
-
That sounds fair enough DJ :o England is very cold though isn't it? You get snow ;D
-
Well we have had snow for last 3 winters.
Used to live much further north, snow every winter.
Have known -20 but that is extreme. And when a dry cold is not so bad.
I think the relentless damp makes it worse.
