Here is a very positive review of this recipe by Sarah Foley from her blog:

Another one people don't have to worry about!

Pics on the Facebook Devil of a Cookbook page too.

Cecilia, she says she has altered it slightly from the one in the book do you know what the alterations are?

Just had a look at the site and the one in my copy of the book . .

Changes in ingredients:
The sugar was changed from 100 gm to 60 gm

Method:
Macadamias were chopped for 15 sec - speed 4/5 as opposed to 25 secs/sp 4 in book

After the butterfly was removed toward the end - adding flour and macadamias -it was mixed for 30 secs/sp3 (mixture pushed down half way through) as opposed to mix for 20 secs/speed 2

Baked for 10 minutes instead of the 20 minutes in the book

I made these this morning. I followed the recipe in the book without making any alterations and they taste amazing! This  is a recipe I wouldn't normally go for as I'm not always the biggest fan of strong tasting lemony things but the lemon flavour in these cookies is really subtle and it is the texture of the macadamias that really shines through! These will be a regular in our house, my 3yo son loves them too  :) 5/5

Like Thermo Mrs, when I made these, I just followed the recipe as printed.  No problem.  5/5

In found they only need 12-14mins in the oven, otherwise they were really overdone (first batch I set the timer and walked away, big mistake. 2nd batch I stayed around the oven and they needed to be pulled out by 14min).

They were quite nice, but there won't be a hurry to make them again. 3/5

I made these cookies today and am really happy with the results.
Quick and easy, lovely taste and something a little different to what I normally whip up.

Regards
Karen :)

I was just looking at your pic cecilia - are those lemons? They are so tiny, I've never seen them that size before.

Yes, they were dear little ones from my son's tree - not all the fruit was that small, but there were enough cute little ones to make a pretty pic.  :)  Very sweet and juicy too.
