Title: Help! How do I post a recipe?!

Hi Everyone I am new as you can tell. I have scrolled through the chat and the intro stuff but I cant see how I do it! I am sure there is a really obvious button I have missed!
I appreciate your help.

Hi you just click on section you want eg main meals, cakes etc and hit new topic

Mmsie, if you have a cake recipe look for Cakes on the Home Page.  Click on it and you will see all the latest recipes posted there.  Up the top you will see New Topic, click on that and a box will come up.  Put the title of the recipe in the first strip then the recipe goes in the box.  When completed, click on post at the bottom and bob's your uncle.  Some of the topics have a different set up.  They will be in sections for ingredients, method etc but it's easy to follow and once you've done a couple you will be right.  Cookie or I will be able to modify it if you mess up but have a go and ask as many questions until you get it right.

Thank you so much for your replies! I will start posting recipies, how exciting! It was just the terminology I misunderstood I thought a topic might be a whole new subject, I'm not ready for that! Lol. Thanks again, Mmsie

You can post a recipe anywhere you like and our dear moderators, JD and Cookie, will ensure that it ends up in the right place.

There is a beautiful logic to the forum, though, so have a look around and you can't go wrong.
