Post by: Amanda on September 21, 2012, 12:09:22 pm
Is there a recipe for vanilla paste anywhere on the forum?
I'd really like one.  ;D

This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoZtUCh0mIY&feature=related) was Uni's latest uTube link to making easy vanilla paste.

. . and from me, too!

The other (very early) morning I was making Tenina's Almond, Tangelo and Blueberry Tarts (very highly recommended BTW!!!)  and using her recommended vanilla paste (for the first time).  There was a little of the paste left on the teaspoon - temptation was too great so I "licked the bowl" so to speak . . .  WOW!!  Just prayed there was no RBT unit on the way to work . . . nothing quite like a vodka hit at 6am!!   ;D ;D ;D

I just ordered some online - was $32 Au for approx 25 beans, which seems reasonable.
