About a week ago my hubby had someone knock him over and got red wine over his white shirt. I followed Shannon Lush's advice about soaking in white vinegar then washing as normal but it's still there, although quite faded.
Does anyone know if it's possible to remove it now that it has already been washed?

Have you tried the Miracle spray it worked great on my DS's cricket whites especially the red where the ball gets rubbed and the grass stains

My DH was knocked and spilled a whole glass of red wine on DD2 (who was wearing white pants) only a couple of weeks ago. I let the pants soak in the Aldi version of Napisan Oxy Action for 24 hours and they are perfect....I didn't even remember to wash them until the next day so the stain was dry by then.... I only used body-heat temperature water though because I thought hot water might "set" it further....hope it helps.

Mum spilt something down the front of her vest and gave it to me to wash. I soaked it in Napisan and the stain was still there. I sprayed it with the Miracle spray and soaked it again. Wonderful results, love that stuff!

JD - can you tell me more - when you say you sprayed it with miracle spray and soaked it again ....do you mean you soaked it in Napsian straight after spraying and does the water have to be hot or cold? Did you leave it overnight to soak the second time?

The article had dried from the first unsuccessful overnight soaking in napisan so I sprayed the grease marks well and left it sit for 10 minutes or more. I then soaked it in hot water (just as it comes out of the tap) and I'm pretty sure I added some more napisan as well. I again left it soaking overnight. Mum's vest had fabric panels either side of the zip and it was on this material that the greasy stains were.

Meant to report back to say I soaked it with miracle spray for a few hours then washed with napisan and it's all gone!! Back to white as normal ;D
