Dj I know there is a dumpling recipe in In The Mix using the Varoma. Will check the recipe when I get home - but short answer is yes I think you can cook dumplings in the Varoma

Here's (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6002.0) Cookie's dumpling recipe for the varoma DJ.

You must use your Varoma. It adds a whole new dimension to the TMX. I steamed mini Xmas Puds in mine yesterday. For dinner tonight I am trying a new recipe of chicken in sage and lemon sauce , wrapped in foil and steamed in Varoma. Will probably steam asparagus and carrot at same time.

I expect I will try soon.
In the end used rest of stew in a pastie.
At least I am cooking lots.
Will tell you all when used varoma!!
