Welcome to the forum m155. You have some time before your toy arrives to have a good look at the forum and get in some basic stores that you may need for your cooking. What sort of things do you hope to make in your machine?

Hi m155 and welcome to the forum. It's an exciting time once you buy one and the wait feels sooo long. At least you can have a good look around here and be ready to go.

Hi Everyone,
thanks for the warm welcome.
I actually have a pretty poor baking skills, so I am hoping with the arrival of TMX, I might gain enough courage to do more baking.
I might try  basic bread loaf and maybe sorbet to start off.

Welcome to the forum m155 :)

Baking in a breeze in the TM. There are some recipes where you just through everything in, whizz it up and then bake. They might be good to start you off ;)

Welcome!
If you are going to make bread, I can highly recommend this recipe
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4253.0
I add bread improver but a lot of people don't use it.
You should be fairly safe with sorbet, but try to check the recipe review section before making anything out of the EDC (Every Day Cookbook- it comes with your TMX), I've learned from experience!
Happy days  :)

Hi and welcome.  Lots of recipes are 'put all ingredients in bowl...' and that's pretty much it.

Have a look around the forum.  I'm sure you'll find lots to make that are really simple.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Waiting for delivery is the hard part. Gives you some time to look up recipes and get the ingredients together.

Got my thermomix.
Made roasted veggie stock concentrate and choc custard(yum)  ;D
Didnt have time to cook main meal tonight as it was already quite late when we finished making the custard.
Maybe will try making beef rendang or one of the chicken curry tomorrow.
