My friend Belinda got me onto this magic juice as I tried to create her favourite flavours from her local juice bar. It's the perfect juice for Summer! Refreshalicious!
Ingredients
Flesh of 2 mangoes
200-300g watermelon
1 - 2 tablespoon fresh mint leaves (or to taste)
1 tray ice cubes (10-12)
200g – 500g cold water (I usually use about 300g)
How to
Place everything except the water into TM bowl and chop for 30 seconds on speed 8 .
Add water and mix for 2 minutes on speed 8.

Thanks TAT.. Is it very pulpy??
-
No but it's quite thick. I thought it would be super watery with all the watermelon but the mango gives it a lovely texture. I like my juices quite thick so I only used about 300ml water but just add more or less to suit your tastebuds. It's really delicious and the perfect juice for Summer, sooooo refreshing! :)

Thanks will give it a try..
-
if my mint grows :-)) i will try this one for sure

How are your herbs going uni?
-
:-X
-
Lol so not that good then??
-
my parsley, basil and rocket died and dont get me started on the rest of the veg >:(
-
The good thing about mint, is not only that it tastes so fresh and fab, but it's seriously easy to grow. I have killed a lot of herbs in my herb garden but the mint is invincible!
-
Uni - all mint needs is just a little bit of sun - not too much - and lots of water! Keep a deepish saucer underneath a pot and give it a good watering . . . My DD lost a lot basil and parsley on the balcony of her 3rd floor apt. . . .courtesy of the local ringtails!! Keeps them covered now with an old birdcage but also puts out a plate of veg/fruit offerings for the possums - Mum and two babies have been seen sucking on half orange skins - herbs have been spared . . ;D ;D ;D
-
Thanks for this, it certainly looks refreshing.

i cant understand why everthing is looking like its about to die >:( white things, green thing, little flys, about to give up

Mmmmmm, this looks yummy... TAT, do you think tinned mangoes would be just as good after the fresh ones go out of season?

Have you tried saying nice things to your plants Uni? ;D
-
How cute about the possums, I have them here, I have only seen them a couple of times, but if I'm having a restless night I hear them running along the roof. I have killed mint, I now have some inherited from my Mum, I hope I can keep it alive, she always had it looking good. This drink sounds nice I will make it when I get some more cheap Mango's.

you need a spray of some description . . . if I can find it will send you instructions for some garlic spray . . . Just had to pull out some cabbages (what was left of the developing seedlings - eaten to within an inch of their lives by teh offspring of the white cabbage moths . . . :-)) ??? >:( >:( >:(

Thanks for this, TAT - will give this a go for sure - appreciate your posting it! :D

I guess tinned mangoes would work just as well, they're just in season here, we can get a tray for 15 bucks! Happy days!
I always talk to my herbs. I think it makes them happy. Even if everyone else thinks I'm crazy ;D
-
Lucky you TAT! The cheapest I can find is 2 for $5 :-)) And the season isn't very long!
If I had herbs, I would talk to them too ;D
