Title: Christmas surprise!

Hi,

Had the biggest surprise Christmas morning when hubbie & kids presented me with a fabbie thermomix!!!  Been trawling through this forum for recipes & ideas as not had demonstration yet will have to wait until new year!  Thanks for the basics.  Looking forward to having demo and progressing onto the more challenging stuff.  I live in France and the recipe books are in French so a double bonus to find this forum in English with opinions on recipes always a plus.
Think I will be a regular.  Keep up the great work!

Lucky you Liesa, welcome to the forum.  Pity about the delay in having a demo, have you tried anything or are you waiting for that demo first? You will be so glad you found us, everyone is so helpful here.

what a great surprise, you will love the forum, enjoy your new toy. Great think is that if you are stuck the forum never sleeps as there are many of us from the Southern Hemisphere so when you all sleep we are posting ready to answer questions. I found in the beginning if i started my question with the word Help! in front it is usually answered pretty promptly by some lovely forum fairy.there ar so many wonderful people here from all over.  Maybe pop in to the "where are you from" post.
