Is the Everyday Cookbook worth getting ??? If so where are they available, ridiculous prices on ebay and thermomix do not stock them as an item for sale :-( If not what is your fave cookbook that you always turn to for family meals.. ?? Thank you

Your consultant should be able to get you one, or if you don't have a consultant ATM, perhaps you could get one to "adopt" you - I've done that since mine resigned . . .

I don't like the EDC much, but maybe it's improved since I got mine. I've heard the Tasmanian book is wonderful, although I haven't seen it yet and anything by Tenina is well tested and worth having.

I didn't get the book with mine as I chose to purchase from Spain and save myself some $$$ ;). The Quick fix in the mix gets great reviews and they even have it in Ebook form for the ipad which is great but I want something family friendly not Dinner party material and was wondering which category the QF book would fall into ?

IMO the QFITT is very family friendly - we use it quite a bit.

In all probability, all you need is your TMX and this forum! Any question/problem small or large - pop it on here and you'll have all the advice you need!!

Goldfish is right BT, this forum will have all the answers and recipes you need. Just ask or spend some time searching. I did wonder though if the UK Thermomix book which is the equivalent of our EDC (but better in my opinion) would be for sale. I much prefer the UK thermomix book to the australian EDC.

And the UK version is a reasonable price of £19.95, thank you so much for the link :) ... Why is the EDC so expensive in comparison and not available for purchase from Thermomix Australia ? Can't believe they sell for over $120 on ebay..

Does anyone know if the uk people will ship books to Australia ? I wouldn't mind a copy of their "edc" since the consensus of opinion seems to be that it's superior...

I have emailed them and asked if they will ship to Australia.. Hopefully yes :-).

Last I heard they do ship to Australia, but they are only allowed to sell you books that aren't available in Australia - so they can sell you the UK Fast & Easy cookbook (their equivalent to the EDC), but they can't sell you the Aust EDC.

I bought it from UK...great customer service and no problems shipping to aust. GF, I think my consultant has a few copies of this. Do you want me to ask her? .

No problem. In fact instead of being the middle person I will pm you her details now. She lives in the Eastern suburbs but may be cheaper than getting it from UK. She may also have the UK Indian cookbook (if you are interested in that as well).
