Good morning everyone !
I am new to this forum and am having lots of problems finding specific recipes. When I type in a recipe name into the "search " box , it comes
up with references to the recipe but not the recipe itself . I'm sure it's a very simple process but I'm not sure what it is. I would greatly
appreciate any help . ???

Go directly to the category where you are looking eg jams & chutneys, and type in the search eg "strawberry jam". Or up the top on the web search (top right hand corner) type "strawberry jam thermomix". You will then get a world wide selection. Alternatively, if you know the recipe you want is on here, add "forum" to your search and that should narrow it down.

I find the google search engine much better than a forum search. For something you know is on the forum, as CP says just type in eg 'chicken kiev forumthermomix' and up it will come.
With the forum you cannot be in the Bread section and search for jam, you either have to be on the home page or in the jam section. It is also helpful to use " around the subject you are looking for.

I understand your confusion, I sometimes spend ages looking for a recipe.

I too have your problem and I agree with Judy. Google seems to work better.

Even when I know what recipe I want, I like to browse the forum until I find it because I often stumble across golden nuggets of information or other recipes to try ;D

I was going around and around in circles with no success ,but I certainly did discover a
great many recipes I'm going to try , now that I can locate them again .
Thanks again ! :D
