This is a decadent cheesecake but is really nice to share with lots of people to cut the calories ;D
I did bake my base as often a base is too crumbly on cheesecakes and it is worth it in my opinion.
The only thing I would do differently is to halve the mixture when adding the snickers bars to one part and cocoa to the other as 1/3 for the cocoa part is not enough and the layers don't show up clearly enough. Just my thoughts though.

Looks delicious JD. What are the white balls on top?
-
That was my attempt to make a flower from raw almonds snappy - just something silly that crossed my mind yesterday when I made it. I am a terrible decorator of cakes etc. The cheesecake is for visitors tomorrow but had Mum here today so though I may as well make a start on it - plenty for everyone.

It looks great JD, I just wasn't sure if they were yoghurt covered sultanas. The raw almonds would taste delicious on that cheesecake and add some texture.

Thanks snappy, you are too kind.

I saw that recipe and pinned it for later - sure looks the goods
Does it taste as good as it sounds?
I'm having a couple of people here for a spit roast tomorrow maybe I should make it for then.

I don't have cheesecake very often Jadey and I can't even remember the last time I made one so I can honestly say that I really did enjoy this one. I used homemade choc ripple biscuits (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6556.0) for the base. You had better get a move on if you want it for tomorrow ;D

It's for tomorrow night so if I get it in the fridge in the morning it should set by dessert time. (I hope)

I'm not even going to look at this, really truly. But then it does sound lovely.
