Title: Been Busy

I've been busy with my skincare business and with my DD's wedding. It was held last Saturday and although the weather didn't play nice, it was a lovely day.
My DD was the most calm and efficient bride! She had everyone's mobile numbers in a folder and sent a bulk text out at 10.30 am to notify of a change of time and venue. She had to change the ceremony to later in the day to be held at the reception venue. They had their photos during the afternoon and then came to the reception centre to be married.

Of course, she looked divinely gorgeous and everyone had a wonderful time. One of her brother's was the MC and he did a fantastic job. He was hilarious! DH looked fab in his new suit and his speech was just lovely. My DD also gave a speech. One of her comments that really touched me was this:

"When people say that I'm like my Mum, I take that as a huge compliment. She is my rock, my confidant and my best friend."

Yes, the tears were rolling down my cheeks after that one! ;D

I've attached a photo that was taken by my son's partner (hopefully soon to be fiancee!)
