Hello everyone, I'm a newbie Thermomix lover. As yet I don't actually own one however am hoping to own one soon. I contacted Thermomix via their website a couple of days ago and so far have not heard back.
Does anyone know if there are there many or any demonstrators her in SA?
I am looking forward to owning and using one.

welcome ermy! i'm pretty sure there are demonstrators in SA as we have people from SA who own tmx's here on the forum ;)

Great to see you here - sad to hear that nobody has contacted you.
There are consultants in Sth Aust - riv_mum (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?action=profile;u=173) is one, sorry can't think of the others.
Judydawn and Amanda may jog the memory

a friend here contacted them and i think it took about 4-5 days, which is pretty much what you'd expect - after all head office have to disseminate it down the line (remembering my old tupperware days ;))

Hi and welcome to another South Australian Ermy. My consultant was Cindy-Anne Macdonald Ph 82660683. Hope someone contacts you soon.
-
Welcome Ermy. It took me about 3 website enquiries before I was contacted :-)) - but it was all worthwhile in the end ;D
Looking forward to hearing about your Thermomix adventures ;) ;D

Welcome Ermy from a UK TMX user
Why do I always think SA is South Africa? I guess it's used as an acronym for that country more over here and we don't usually make distinctions between the different areas in Australia... :-[

Hi Ermy and welcome!
I have had my machine for 14 months and bought it after going to a demonstration through Monika Pawlisz (monika1@adam.com.au). She seems to supervise demonstrations so may be able to put you onto a consultant in your area - I'm not sure if there is a hierarchy of consultants, perhaps one of them on the forum can let us know?!?!
Best thing I ever bought!

There is a bit of one.
I think only Vic and WA are big enough to both have Branch Managers, then the Group Leaders (who report to the BM) have their own teams in their area that they over see.
-
Yes, think that's the case ILB. Internet "leads" get sent to Group Leaders who send them to "active" consultants for follow up. How quickly you are responded to following your request for information depends upon those links.

Hi Ermy,
Welcome to another Sth Aussie!!! Where do you live. I'm here in Redwood Park and my consultant was Monica the SA teamleader.
Cheers

Welcome Ermy, I hope you hear about your thermomix soon. The waiting is hard. :'(
-
Thanks for the email address. I have emailed Monika this morning.
Hope she checks her emails over the weekend.

Hi Ermy,
My consultant is Anthea - brockbank@adam.com.au or 0402 343 334 who was terrific and very helpful.
Good luck!!
Cheers,
Catherine

Hi Ermy, my consultant was Monica, too. She is a great demonstrator.
Where in SA are you? I am in the Adelaide hills.
-
I'm in the Barossa.
-
I emailed Monica and she has organised one of her consultants for me.
I've ordered and paid for it. Will be here in two weeks. I'm so glad I could order it before hand, it would have been awful to have the presentation and then have to wait 2 weeks.
:)
So the website contact didn't work for me. Actually contacting a demonstrator did.

Congratulations - can't wait 2 weeks now you're primed

Hope they didn't waste too much money on advertising in papers and Masterchef if they can't follow up on hot leads. :-\ :-\
