I haven't been having many vegies lately and these sounded nice. Cooked them exactly as per recipe and they were lovely, didn't fall apart when turning. Great idea to cook with a lid on to steam the vegies as they browned on low heat. I enjoyed them and I hope the children will too, if not then just cook them for the adults ;D

Look yum Judy - they are another one of the marked recipes in my book too!! :D

They look nice Judy

I just found out that these are just as nice cold - perfect for lunchboxes and picnics.

Looks like I'm just going to have to buy this book!!

Like MJ. It is good that the book is suitable for big toddlers too.
-
I was thinking the same thing MJ, there seem to be some really lovely recipes.

I'll do a review later but in my second reading last night I marked 67 recipes suitable for adults or kids.

That's pretty good, JD.

I don't normally eat hash browns...I think I've only tried them once but I thought I'd give this recipe a go.
I thought the hash browns would fall apart when cooking after seeing the consistency in the TMX but not so. I wouldn't do this as a weekday breakfast as it takes too long to fry the whole lot. They are nice though and I would make them again.
It does say in the paragraph before the recipe to use a little oil and to put lid on when frying....it would be good if this was written in the recipe. Luckily I had read Judy's review regarding the lid but I did use a little too much oil.
I took a quick photo of just two of these as my toddler was impatient and really wanted to eat them. Here it is:

I succumbed and bought the book, along with the new EDC, which I love.
I guess you could make these the day before and simply re-heat to save time in the morning.

Tomorrow's lunch I think ... I have made thee once & DD loved them.
