Title: Recipe for apple butter?

Does anyone have a recipe for apple butter (not apple sauce)? I need it for some recipes I want to try. I saw there was one on recipe community but it doesn't have a good review so I am reluctant to try it.

Hey Chookie. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but is the granny smith and lemon curd what you would call apple butter?
I'm not sure what it's supposed to taste like but saw on a show from america
