Title: Help! 1000 as the temperature

What to set? what to do? Thank you!

Ingredients
Curried Lentil Carrot Cashew Soup
750 grams carrot, cut in quarters
1200 grams water
120 grams red lentils thoroughly washed and drained
80 grams cashews, unsalted
2 tbsp TM vegetable stock concentrate
20 grams olive oil
1 large onion,cut in quarters
1 tbsp madras curry paste or red curry paste EDC
25 grams coriander leaves and stems
125 grams yoghurt
shredded coriander leaves for garnishing

Preparation
Curried Lentil Carrot Cashew Soup


1.
Place carrots into TM bowl and grate, 10 secs /speed 5
Add 1200g water and stock, bring to boil 12 mins / 1000/ speed 1.5
Add lentils and cook 8 mins / 1000 / speed 1.5
Set aside.
 
Chop onion 4 secs / speed 5
 
Scrape down, add 20g O/Oil and sauté 3 mins / Varoma / Soft / Reverse
 
Add cashews and curry paste and sauté 2 mins / Varoma / Soft / Reverse
 
Add carrot mixture and 25g coriander and mix together 10secs/ speed 5
 
Season to taste.
 
Blend in two batches each 1 min / speed 8 or 9
 
Garnish with yoghurt and shredded coriander

Its a typo cos they were trying to do the degrees I think -  just use 100 degrees  ;)

Perhaps you should ask the question of Recipe Community mickeydownunder.  It is obviously a typographical error and should read 100o but the mistake should be pointed out to them seeing as it is one of their recipes.

Thanks to both replies! I did firstly and got no reply!

GREATLY appreciate and presumed it was a typo but being new, wanted to make sure it was not something else I needed to learn!

I'm not surprised there was an error. Only tonight did I (for the first time ever) post one of my recipes there just to see what I was missing....I had to start the process 5 (YES 5) times over as there was a glitch in their system....www.forumthermomix.com for me every time...and there are always friendly people here who will spot the errors quickly and happily notify the author!

Thanks cookie and yes I did and really enjoy being welcomed here, true!

I am exciting to contribute, share and look forward to learning heaps more through experienced Thermomix eyes and recipes too!

LOTS more to be posted on my blog as had access to a Themomix for about a month and cooked and baked up a storm through all would cuisines, categories i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Entertaining...look forward to future posts to see!
