Title: Ikea style sauce for meatballs
Post by: Halex on November 14, 2013, 10:51:58 am
200 ml cream
200 ml water
200ml beef stock
2 tsp of soya sauce
2 Tbsp white flour
S & P to suit

All in TM, 90, 12 mins, speed 4

This makes enough for 1kg of meatballs.

Sourced from different recipes & adapted to my family.

H :)

Depending on how thick you like it, you can add more flour.

I've never had the Ikea original either.  Wonder if you could substitute light & creamy evap milk for the cream?  Should still give it the creamy taste I guess.  :)

We love the ikea meatballs but haven't had them for ages. I'll have to put them on the meal plan. Thanks for the recipe.
