So I got my thermy for Christmas from my husband, but I was told by my consultant that I couldn't use it until the delivery demo. Anyway, I finally had the demo today and I've finally been able to use it! We made the vegie stock concentrate, then I made cauliflower soup for lunch, lemon cake, banana ice cream and chicken stroganoff for dinner! I never have the energy to cook anything besides dinner as I have a 7 month old, but now its all I want to do. My thermy has reignited my love of food!! I feel like I need to get my friends hooked so I can share my love with others more haha! I also think I'm annoying my husband slightly with my constant thermy talk hahahaha

Well done. Sounds like you have had a great day.

Looloo that is really exciting. I am so very pleased for you. Having a thermomix is a never ending adventure. Your husband will eventually get used to you raving about it. Please feel free to chat online here as we all share your feelings.

He he.....I know exactly how you feel. It's a really exciting time.

Cook away - your husband will fall in love with thermie too!
-
cook away, your DH will get used to it..
Crazy for a consultant to deliver it, and say not use it... :o
-
Sounds like your pretty normal to me.
My dh also loves my thermie, he bought me another one ;D i have had mine for nearly 3 years & now no.2 is coming :)

I certainly did have a great day! Now we've just gotten up an I'm making us Chai lattes in it haha! I'm definitely sure he'll get used to it. He wants me to teach him to use it too, not that I'm ready for someone else to do it as it's still so much fun for me, but he can help hahaha. She's only been a consultant for 2 months, maybe that's why? she said in was in her contract? Oh well, I'm so happy now! Oh Halex, thats so amazing!

What a wonderful time you are having - I think we are all picking up on your buzz. You are going to have the most fun time in your kitchen now. The TMX has had the same effect on almost of all of us on the forum - that's what has brought us all together to form this wonderfully helpful forum family.

Hi LooLoo, welcome to the forum, you're not alone when it comes to being excited about your thermy, I've had mine 4yrs now and am still totally in love with it. It's amazing the things you can do with it. My husband tells everyone it was the best present he ever bought me. Enjoy

Thankyou all so much! ;D

Another goddess in the kitchen! ;D ;D
And there's nothing wrong with a man goddess in the kitchen too. Is that what you'd call him??
-
hahahaha nikkit! I'll have to start using that! ;D
-
Looloo, have fun .

Congratulations Looloo, sounds like you are having a great time. I would be interested to hear which recipe you used for the Chai Latte and how you found it.
There is no way I would have waited for the demo if it was already in my house ;D

Sounds like you are having fun. ;D
I've had mine a bit over a year and the excitement hasn't worn off yet. Totally refreshed my attitude to the daily grind of feeding the family.
My husband raves about it to people even more than I do 8)

Thanks all!
Wonder, I just used a powdered chai I had before thermie, added a mug of milk and 3 tsp of the powder to the bowl, set the temperature to 70 on speed 4 for 7 minutes. When run out of the powder I'm going to definitely try to make my own!

Welcome looloo. :)
We all feel the same about our thermies, ;D
I have a 6.5mth old so pretty close to your little ones age. (I also have 3 others!!! :D)
