Title: Recipes of calender
Post by: Patzee on July 29, 2009, 06:16:49 pm
Hi all, just wondered if anyone would like to share a recipe or two off the calender (2009 I presume) that I read people have purchased in the past.  Some of the recipes sound awesome!  Thanks...

I read somewhere that the Strawberry Tart was disappointing - anyone tweaked that?  Is there a list of recipes from this calendar?

Im ashamed to say I haven't made many of these (probably cos Id eat them all by myself...) but here's the list:

January - Salted Caramel Maple Ice Cream
February - Strawberry Tart
March - Roasted Vegetable Calzone with Pesto Dressing (a good friend of mine makes this regulary and says it freezes well - great for a quick meal option).
April - Tangy Seafood Salad (with chilli citrus dressing)
May - Black Bottom White Chocolate Cheesecake (very nice and very rich!)
June - Tandoori Chicken with Naan Bread
July - Lemon Chess Flan (lemon tart)
August - Chunky Beef Chilli - served with Creamed Lemon Feta
September - Lemon Cupcakes with Creamy Vanilla Frosting
October - Aglio Oilio E Peperoncino (Garlic Oil and Hot Chilli)
November - Frosty Mango Vodka Cocktail & Cranberry Cooler (non alc)
December - Fruity Pear Mince Tarts (this was just on one of the newsletters for Christmas in July).

Let me know if you'd like any of these posted. When I have some spare time I'll post whats not already on here.

I would be interested in the Tangy seafood salad from April if you get the time please.

Thanks

Thanks ILB, your so generous.  When you have time I would appreciate the Chunky Beef Chilli and the Lemon Cup cakes.   Made Raisin buns with cinnamon tonight, so nice!  Just did the bread recipe and threw in some sugar, cinnamon and raisins towards the end.  Put them side by side in tray and baked for approx 25 mins.   Starting to experiment a little now.  Had TMX for 3 weeks.  Hanging out for the meat recipe book to be released!  Sounds wonderful.

All in the name of a good cause Patzee  ;)

Both the Chunky Beef Chilli and the Tangy Seafood recipes have been posted under the mains section  ;D.

Will post the Lemon Cup Cakes tomorrow (I'm off to make some washing machine goo so I can put a load on!)

Thanks ILB!  Will print and go try these recipes.  Ingredience look yummy.  I know the TMX is a time-saving device, but ever since I got mine I havent been able to have a clean kitchen.  Cooking, cooking, cooking!   :P
I've put on a kilo, eating yummy fresh bread.  Sooo easy and quick!

Will put it in the desserts for you.  I hope that's ok and not breaking copyright. I may make a couple of changes in the method, different wording or something.

I'm guessing it's the only way to get the recipe now, so should be okay.  Thanks!
