Title: Recipe review - sweet potato hummus with confit garlic, KIS page 20
Post by: Katiej on January 12, 2014, 05:15:41 am
On made this on Friday when we were having guests over for a BBQ.

Easy to make and tasted delicious.  The flavours were lovely - garlic, cumin, lemon.
A nice change to traditional hummus.
Definitely a winner and I'll make it again for sure.

It looks more appealing to me than ordinary hummus Katie.

Very nice.  Perhaps the ice cubes I used were large, but they didn't incorporate in the time given so had to mix longer. I used the confit garlic which I had made earlier. I didn't have a fresh lemon so just used the juice.  If I were using zest, I would grate it in the TM before starting this recipe.  I think this is nicer than regular hummus.
