HUMMUS
3 tbls of Lemon Juice
1 Can of ready to eat Chick Peas
4 Garlic cloves.
1 cup of natural or Greek Yoghurt
2 tbls of Olive Oil.
Pinch of Salt and Pepper.
Parlsey.
Preparation
Place all the above ingredients in the bowl, and select programme 4. Keep mixing until the ingredients turn into a thick paste. When done, put in the fridge for a couple of hours. When ready to serve, sprinkle a bit of paprika on the top, to give that nice colour.
Really nice to serve with pita bread and carrot sticks.

Hi Roberta,
Have you tried it with tahini ? ???
A few more calories than with yoghurt.
Cheers

Pumpkin Hummus
2 tablespoons tahini
2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon Thai Curry paste or Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon olive oil
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups mashed pumpkin (very yummy with left over roast pumpkin)
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tablespoon pumpkin seed kernels (pepitas), dry roasted in TM (optional to sprinkle on top)
Place all ing in TM for about 30 seconds speed 4
Serve with toasted pita bread.

Sounds good - so good that I put it in a separate thread too

yum - thankyou - I was looking for a non-tahini recipe. I'll make this today:)

A slightly different hummus recipe, thanks.

mmm this sounds nice, i am not a big fan of tahini so this would be yummier

A bit of a silly question. Just want to double check.
Do you drain the canned chickpeas? For this recipe or the EDC, it doesn't say to drain it so I assume chuck it all in?
Thanks in advance. :)

Drain and rinse to get rid of the tinny taste.
