Hello everybody, I too am awaiting the delivery of my Thermomix.  I've been following many blogs and sites in the past 6 months and finally made the commitment.  I am hoping to encourage my children to cook and be more hands on with their health and nutrition.

Have found many wonderful recipes and tips so far and can't wait to put them into practice.  Should be any day now!

Welcome attagirl. How old are your children?  Do they enjoy cooking at the moment?

My children are 14 and 11 and unfortunately do not cook very often, fingers crossed this is soon to change as they were very impressed at the Demo

Hello Attagirl, welcome to the forum.  It sounds as if you are well and truly informed and ready to take on the Thermomix.  The kids will love using it, cooking by numbers really.

...All jokes aside, my children love cooking, the eldest is only 7.  :D

A very warm welcome, Attagirl . . . once your TMX arrives and you get going, I think we're going to be saying your name over and over . .  ;D ;D  Your children, too, will be turning out delicious treats!!  Good luck and remember, any problems, questions, etc. just pop them on here.  There'll be lots of help and advice . . . :)

Thank you all for the very warm welcome.  Great news, my Thermie is getting delivered by my consultant tomorrow!  So very excited, just in time for the weekend.
