Hey Guys

My name's Kurt and me and my partner Sophie have just bought a Thermomix (nicknamed it Mixy) and looking forward to chatting to you all on here. We are fairly new beginners at all of this so I'm going to surprise Sophie tonight by making the Mushroom risotto !!!

A very warm welcome to you both!!  I can vouch for this forum being the most friendly and helpful place to be!  Any problems/questions just pop them on here and you'll have advice very quickly.  

If you haven't already checked out these two threads, do have a look -

As Obbie mentioned we are only to happy to help with any problems you have, or queries. As we are a worldwide forum there is often someone here when us Aussies are asleep.
The shopping centre at Chermside is pretty good. :D

Hi to Kurt and Sophie.  Top of the class Kurt - nice surprise.  I kep telling my other half that he can do it - a bit like painting by numbers but so far he is resisting all things in the kitchen.  After 30 years - I don't like my chances of changing him.  Enjoy all the recipes and help available  here on the Forum
