Thought I'd pop in and introduce myself, since I felt a sudden urge to post a recipe in the recipe-sharing section.
I'm in East Anglia, in the UK, and I have had my Thermomix for two and a quarter years (browsing this forum sporadically throughout that time). Although I use the Thermomix often, it has tended to be for mundane things such as chopping or soup-making, so I'm currently on a mission to use more of the Thermomix's capabilities than I have been doing. Initially, I'm planning to try lots of dishes cooked in the Varoma.
What a great forum you have here! I found the contents lists for recipe books particularly useful when ordering new books a couple of days ago.
It's a pleasure to meet you all. ;)

Welcome to the forum Siren from another UK member. :)
As you probably aware there is a great All in One Section here that uses the Varoma. ;)

Thank you, Cornish Cream. I will be reading that section with great enthusiasm!

Hello Siren and welcome to the forum. It's nice to have another member from the UK joining and we hope you'll share many of your recipes with us. We also hope you'll find our recipes will inspire you to use your TMX a lot more.

Welcome to the Forum Siren. There are plenty of recipes here that explore the full potential of the TMX. The Varoma is a wonderful piece of equipment with many uses. Have fun.

Hello, all you experienced old-timers! Could I please ask a quick question about using the forum? If I have made a recipe from one of the Thermomix cookery books, or have made a variation of it, and if I feel like commenting on it but can't find that same recipe reviewed on the forum... which subforum should I post in? Should I create a new post in the "Swapping Recipes" section according to the type of recipe it is, or should I add a post to the corresponding thread for that book in the "Recipe Book Recipe Reviews" section? Thank you.
-
I would just add a new post in the Recipe Book Recipe Review and give your variation on that recipe Siren.
-
Thank you, Cornish Cream. I'll do that.

Hi Siren, thanks for asking as some people are a little confused about this. Just repeating what CC told you but adding a little more information as it is quite confusing. Often people can't find their new reviews and that's because they ends up on page 3 due to the fact that our recipe book listings are stickied to keep them all together on the first few pages. Just click on 'new topic' in recipe reviews & write your review. A moderator will come along the same day and add the link to the list of the relevant book.
Thanks CC.
