Hi & welcome to the forum Chelle, it's exciting waiting for the TMX and searching this forum for recipes to cook :)  Do keep in touch and let us know how things go.

Welcome to the forum, Chelle from another Melbournite (there are quite a few of around here now ... where do you live?).  The waiting is the hard part, once your TMX arrives you're going to have a great time.  Remember to keep it out on your bench all the time so that it is easy to access and have a hunt around for a couple of recipes you want to try first, gather the ingredients together then you will be ready to go as soon as the TMX is unpacked.

Welcome to the forum, I can understand your excitement, be bold and make things you haven't tried before, it's very satisfying to say I made it myself. :)

Cuiidh I'm just out of Cranbourne. South of Melbourne. Whereabouts are you?
Can't decide what to cook 1st. There is so many to choose from. We are generally a meat & 3 vege family so it is going to take a lot of re training the brain.

I'm in Collingwood, Chelle.  I THINK Aussie Brenda may live down your way, though.  Lots of members scattered across Victoria now, so you are bound to meet one or more of us one day.

When I got my TMX I found I was making rissotto all the time because they are so easy, but when I realised that was what I was doing, I promised to make at least one different meal each week ... I have now made so many new meals I cannot remember any of my old meals!  Having a TMX is wonderful fun, you will find that you won't think twice about trying new things - if you are like most of us, you won't be able to stop yourself from experimenting.

Welcome Chelle. We were a meat and vegie family before thermomix too. We still eat that way a lot, but thermomix makes so many things much easier. For example white or cheese sauces are so quick and easy to make now. You will have fun.

Hello Chelle and welcome. I cooked the mushroom risotto first but added some cooked chicken to get the meat component in as our house is the same.
