Having recently transferred comments in both the Cakes & Dessert sections of our forum, I know how much our members love baking sweet things. This next challenge will therefore be an easy one for most of you and believe me, there are so many wonderful recipes from which to choose.
Please list your recipes here with a photo if possible and with a link back to the recipe. You may also post a new recipe if that is your preference - as CC said when we were discussing this new challenge, "I really love it when someone posts a recipe they have had in the family for decades that is proven reliable and good."
So go to it everyone, have some fun with this one.

I make the Lemon pudding surprise cake last night but changed it into passionfruit and lemon.
I replaced one lemon with the pulp of 3 passion fruit, used the electric beaters for the egg whites. It was delicious.
I didn't think to take a photo at the time, don't know how to link the recipe in tapatalk.

Looks gorgeous Cornish. I really like some of the shapes you can buy (cake tins) these days, I have a few myself. (I just use canola spray and haven't had a problem with sticking either). :D

Beautiful cake BZB :)

That cake is devine!
I have been dying to join in this challenge, but first my machine broke and I had to wait (impatiently) for it to be repaired, and then when I got it back I was too sick to cook. Today I have plugged it in and started to cook. Dad has requested apple pie (with sultanas) for Father's Day lunch, so I have tried this forum recipe http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6237.0;prev_next=prev (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6237.0;prev_next=prev). I will assemble it and bake it tomorrow, and I've also made a batch of vanilla icecream to go with it.

Have you entered anything into this year's Royal Adelaide Show Sue?
-
No, I'm afraid not. The entries were due this week, but I was too sick to cook anything
-
BZB that cake is awesome.
ES there is nothing quite like apple pie and ice cream.
-
That's bad luck Sue, I enjoyed looking for your winning entries last year.
-
Thank you CC, Chookie, Judy, Julie, Mab, ES and Cookie xx
Mmm...apple pie. Don't think I've made one before. Waiting to hear how yours turn out, Sue 😃

I can't say it any better than that!!
Many happy returns to your DH, BZB - that really is one heck of a cake!! :o
ED - it's been a cool and wet Saturday here in Sydney . . . was just thinking Cookie's thoughts exactly!! ;D
-
I converted a recipe for Salted Caramel Sauce from GT. Stirred it through Vanilla ice cream. Have to say it is Yummy. Need to test recipe again as some salty lumps formed in the bottom of saucepan. Think the cream was too thick.
-
DD bought a Lindt chocolate today that was salted caramel. I hope I get a tiny taste.
-
The apple pie and Icecream was very popular at lunch today. It's dad's favourite dessert and must have lots of sultanas or it won't pass muster. There was only one slice left for him to take home.

-
Looks lovely ES.Pleased to hear your Dad enjoyed it ;D

You certainly have your cooking mojo back ES after your bout of flu ;) Looks lovely.
-
Lovely cooking as always ES.
-
ES, apple pie looks delicious.
The salted Caramel Ice clean was a huge success. Served it over waffles with more sauce on top. Sorry , no photo. Too busy cooking waffles and scooping Ice cream.
-
I can imagine it Chookie and it looks wonderful.
-

Made a lemon tea cake today. Recipe used 100mls of lemon juice which is great, but I still have a bucket of lemons to go...

I copied Kimmy's Lemon Cake today. I'm not sure what I did but it seems very heavy. Boo hoo.

-
looks good Cookie :)
-
It's so pretty, Cookie 😃
-
I love your tin cookie. Have you cut it yet to see if it's ok.
-
Yes. The flavour is lovely but it is a bit heavy. Maybe I got the flours the wrong way round or something. I could serve it up with lemon custard.
-
Mmmm.....not sure cookie. Mine was a little heavy almost like a butter cake, but moist.
-
I think it was me Kimmy. No worries.
-
I made a lovely slice today. It is all natural and the recipe was given to me by the lovely lady in the local T2. It has lots of nuts in it. I will post the recipe. Hopefully when I put the topping on I can get a photo. It was gobbled up last time.
