My Thermomix TM5 is having this error every now and then. ???

Device switches off. Please confirm and restart.

After I click OK, the machine shuts down.
I can restart it immediately, but the same error appears if I try to operate/cook/mix something at once again.
It works fine again after it rests for about 10 minutes.
There is nothing about the error in our TM5 manual.
Anyone has this problem? Any official explanation about this?

I'm sorry I don't know what these errors mean and I think you need to contact your TM Advisor for help.I hope you get it resolved soon.

welcome to the forum thyang
try unplugging from the P/P, sometimes it reset and its fine

I have had this error twice. Both times I was making something hot and was able to start the machine again immediately. I haven't contacted my consultant. I thought I would take specific note of when it happens so that I can tell her.
I have been wondering if it is so e safety measure.

Yikes!

it would be a good idea for Vorwerk to publish a list of this error messages on their website and what action to take if it comes up (did you hear that Vorwerk???)

Actually I think I may ring them tomorrow. Just like to stir. The 31 book has error messages, the 5 doesn't. :-\

I realise this is quite an old thread. But I am getting this error now. All I did was try to grind some almonds first thing in the morning.
What ended up happening with this error? Did it have to be sent back, or did it resolve itself?
Kind Regards,
Rochelle

Yes, it does have to go back Rochelle. Give your consultant a ring and they will get things going for you. It is a jolly nuisance.
