I was about to make a new batch of this recipe which I found on Tenina's site last year, but I have just hunted for it and she has removed it!!
Not a trace!
I wonder if anyone else used it or had the sense (obviously not me!) to print it out?

Amanda, if you have the 09 calendar it could be in there as I remember making lemon butter to put in the middle of the cupcakes a while back
-
maybe that's why it's gone?!

There is a lemon curd filling recipe for a pie. I can't remember how similar the lemon butter recipe was.
Bum!
I'll give Caroline's recipe a go, instead.

Fished out the recipe and actually it just says to put a bit of LB into the mixture. Doesn't have the recipe at all, and I would have used the one out of EDC on p147

Is the Lemon Curd the one you want - half way down http://cravepublishing.com/steamovencooking/2008/12/stuff-the-cheesecake/ (http://cravepublishing.com/steamovencooking/2008/12/stuff-the-cheesecake/) ?

Thanks jeff, but no.
I discovered that I actually did write it down on a post-it and stuck it on the page with the lemon butter recipe in in the EDC!!
Who'd have thought i'd be that organised?! :D
It is very rich, with 1 whole egg and 4 yolks and has actually vanished off her site. Odd.
May have to make some meringue shells to use up the egg whites, though.

Hi Amanda,
Dont meant 'to butt in', but I have been searching for a 'good' lemon butter. The one in EDC was very bland. Would you mind sharing please?? Thanks :P

Here's my old converted recipe - much nicer than EDC version:
Juice and rind of 2 lemons
250g sugar
85g butter
2 eggs
Add lemon rind and sugar to bowl and pulverise for 20 seconds on speed 9.
Insert Butterfly an add all the other ingredients. Cook for 8 minues at 80oC on speed 3.
Check to see if mixture coasts back of spoon, if not cook for a further 2 mins.
Place in sterilised jars and chill.
Enjoy.
