Title: Review Courgette soup TM5 - The Basic Cookbook UK Version
Post by: Decadent Dot on January 12, 2015, 08:08:18 am
Cream of Courgette Soup Page 94
This soup has been moved up to a favourite on my TM5. It is a very pleasant soup. At first I thought it was going to taste bitter like courgette skin or be a bit tasteless and bland and being green doesn’t help but I had all the ingredients so I decided to go ahead. I was surprised at the difference the cream cheese made so I recommend keeping to the recipe. My photo is slightly out of focus but I like a post with a photo.

After Dot's glowing review I thought I would make this recipe too.I agree,a lovely soup.I added Seriously Strong Spreadable Strong Cheese (http://www.seriouslystrongcheddar.co.uk/our-products/seriously®-strong-spreadable) as the spreadable cheese ingredient and used the garlic clove which is an optional extra.

I made this yesterday to use up some of my  zucchinis.  Very nice.
