Title: Rainbow Cake

I have had a request to make a rainbow cake for a birthday this Thursday. Can anyone please direct me to a good recipe foe a 6 layer rainbow cake, or even a butter cake that doesn't use pre mixed cake mixes. Thanks

This cake may help you. It is a chocolate cake but you could leave out the cocoa and just put that much extra flour.

You may need to do 2 batches of this and would need to cook each coloured cake in its own tin. Read through the posts about this cake as many people have made it and used it in different ways.
