Title: Help me decide - which dessert for guests???

Hi
I can't decide which dessert to make for guests this week.  2 adults and 3 kids - youngest is 10.  Haven't had a meal with them before so not sure of their faves, but know that they have no allergies etc.  We are having home made pizzas and salad.  Depending on what dessert I do, I may make orange sorbet to cleanse the palate lol.

My top faves are

 - lemon delicious from budget busters
 - salted caramel maple icecream in brandy baskets with toffee
 - flourless chocolate cake from the 4 ingredients cookbook but make in TMX

So please vote and help me decide.  I really need to decide by tomorrow so I can get whatever I need

Hi Narelle,
Some kids can be a bit funny with lemon sometimes, so my vote is the icecream or the chocolate cake - OR BOTH!!!

I vote for ice-cream - everyone has to be impressed with home made ice-cream and it can be made way in advance.

I would also vote for the ice-cream but wonder how kids would react to the saltiness of it.

I vote lemon delicious - bugger the kids - please the adults.  Lemon delicious is delicious and not too filling after the other food.

Hmm I'm no further advanced!  LOL.  I was going to do the icecream until I log on this am and Thermomixer goes with my fave!  I love lemon delicious although I haven't made it in TMX yet.  I think I will go with the icecream for the visitors and have lemon delicious one night just for us (read for me after the kids go to bed!)
