Hi, my name is Amanda. Our household has had Bimby for the last 8 days and we have used her every day so far, usually multiple times! Love risottos and custards. Quickly finding out we will need lots of eggs, oil and garlic! Have had many stuff ups too, including not reading the recipe properly, over-weighing ingredients :-)) and forgetting the mc! Not to worry, sure we'll improve with practice... Have used the recipe section here to plan our menu for the week, so look forward to the end results.

Welcome Sabimby. Sounds like you have been using your TMX lots. Thats great. Don't worry about mishaps- we all have them. Just persevere & all will be fantastic

Welcome to yet another Amanda - from Adelaide. One trick for over-weighing - make sure you weigh into a container on the Bimby and then add - if you tipp too much then you can remove some.
One of MrsT's big problems with cooking is the tipping and then thinking - maybe that was too much. Especially with chilli !!!

Hi Amanda,
I'm from Adelaide too. Great to have another Sth Aussie onboard and I know that you will learn heaps from this forum.
Cheers

Hi Amanda, lovely to see another S.A. TMX owner join us. Will have to call you sabimby though so as not to confuse you with our other Amanda. Looks like you are going great guns with your cooking and the 'stuff-ups' will decrease very quickly - you generally learn from all mistakes. Not reading the recipe before you do a step is still my greatest mistake but I am getting better.

Welcome Amanda. Lovely to have you with us.

Hi Amanda,
From one South Australian to another - welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are getting straight into it which is great. My 80 year old mum just received hers yesterday and is very excited about it. Through my parties and word of mouth I have sold 6 Thermomix's, so they are certainly becoming more popular. I should become a consultant.
Happy cooking.
