I have been asking my consultant for the Indian cookbook for months. Today she informed me once again she has missed out. If the cookbook cannot be supplied then I think some recipes could at least be posted in the forum for all of us who want to try them.It is certainly no fair that people have the privlidge of tweaking them while the rest of us don't get even a peek.
I thank baf65 for posting the Bhoona Gosht.
Very frustrating.

Gretchen, I rang head office and got them to post out a copy to me. Cost me $9 for postage, but at least I didn't have to wait too long.
Julie.

have to be careful posting the recipes too as it would breach copyright and I imagine it is easily available in the UK since it is one of their cookbooks ;)
-
Interesting JulieO that if they have copies to send out individually why then can they not supply the consultants. Which head office did you ring? I will give them a call. Thanks. :-*

Gretchen, it was a while ago when they first arrived in Australia. I looked up the 1800 number on the TM website and rang. Worth checking to see if they have any.

we certainly haven't been notified that they're re-available yet. I am also desperately wanting one.
-
Speaking of ... no I haven't heard that they are back in yet either, is supposed to be before Xmas. Maybe your consultant has tried to order them but they are still out of stock ??? ???
-
Just confirmed with my Gl...Indian Books and Bread Mats are still out of stock - think your consultant is confused Gretchen (or maybe just a w****r!! ROFL) Chin up there is hope you will get one yet lol
-
Nah she is ok and will get one to me when they are available I guess .Maybe Far North Queensland is a bit out of the loop. Thank you my fellow Thermomixers for all your help. Very grateful.
You got to laugh. State of the world and all I want is a cookbook! Sad case I m.

HI All,
As of Dec 22nd, I am still waiting for the Indian Cookbook as well. :-[
I have phoned Perth Head Office, and they are STILL out of stock ( dammit, I was hoping to have it as a Chrissy Present)...
Probably for the best, as I am 8.5 months pregnant, and cannot tolerate spicy foods...... ;D
-
I WANT one though!!!!!!!!! *stomps feet and has a huge tanty* lol
-
hmmm maybe I could be convinced to sell mine to the highest bidder rofl ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)
-
lol you could put it on Ebay and see how high it goes Kathryn ;)
As for availablity, I asked last time I was there collecting machines and was told they are as frustrated as we all are about it......no consolation for those that are waiting though!
-
Think I would get a pretty good price on here Meagan lol - I know everyone is frustrated with it all :-))
-
I also heard that the supply of mats they were expecting were faulty or something and had to go back.
-
Maybe we should get baf65 to load her suitcases with spare copies and I could sell them on eBay. ??? ???
Oh damn now everyone knows my plans. :o :o
-
lol I have a pretty good rating with ebay :-)) :-)) :-)) I AM trustworthy - it says so ;D ;D ;D Will sell Indian Cookbook - comes with a free TMX total price $1974.00 plus postage and handling!!!!!! ROFLMAO ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
I like that!!! :o ;D :o
-
Watch out Kathryn, some one may take up that offer!
-
Do you get a Thermoserver with that?? might just take up the offer if you can ensure delivery before Christmas ;) ;) ;) ;)
-
I would trade my book for a Thermoserver ???
-
Tebasile do they have thermoservers in Canada? or are they only Australian?
-
No :-[, we don't have them here Meagan. The shipping from Australia must be too expensive...
-
What a shame Elisabeth :(
-
I've been hunting high and low in Germany to find a Thermoserver. The only ones they sell over here are made of plastic and look really cheap :(
-
Keep your eye on ebay, I think one went on there for $70 aud but of course then you would need to pay for shipping too
-
Thanks for the information, Meagan, I'll keep an eye out for one.
-
Good news Gretchen the Indian books are back in stock!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Get onto your consultant quick smart ;) ;) ;)

i see that the Indian Cook problem may be solved. If it arises again, why can't we convert the most popular recipes ourselves.?
We dont eat a lot of Indian food but I would be prepared to have a go.
