Title: Another Thermo Newbie :) Bunbury West Aust
Post by: Bernie on January 16, 2010, 04:36:42 am
Hi all!  I am in West Aust, and have had my baby for aprox three weeks, with my first demo last night!  I am OVER excited and the endless possibilities that this wonderful gadget is able to do!  I am so gratefull I came across this forum for extra tips/recipes!  I am also very exited to find www.tenina.com, that no doubt you would all have seen?

I was recently widowed in tragic circumstances, I have two young children who are both just as excited as me about our new addition!!   ;D  I was wanting to get 'back to the basics' with my cooking anyway, and would always put it off... it was too daunting, but not now!!   :-*

I look forward to meeting/chatting with you, this is just what my life needs - health, happiness & being associated with like minded LOVELY people!   :D

I have had ONE major 'ding'...  was making Mum an iced coffee.... the seal was not in the lid - oops a daisy!!! he  he   :P

Have a great day,

Bernie

You're surrounded by fabulous caring people here, many with young families.  So they'll be plenty of recipes to sift through and keep you busy in the kitchen, while preparing twice the food in the same time.

Whenever I start my TMX my two toddler girls do a huge happy dance as they know something exciting is coming.  Hope you find that it is a positive addition to your lives.

Welcome Bernie and family. I am sorry to read of your loss.

If you've been reading on the forum you will have read that a few of us Perthites get together for a coffee or chat or even just get together occasionally. Perhaps you would like to be involved in the next one.  Watch the forum.

I hope you have heaps of fun with your TMX. You certainly aren't the only person who has made things without the seal in. Mine was a beetroot dip!

No TM'ing for me so far today - a huge nana nap instead!

Happiness and wonderful TM ideas to all,

Bernie   ;)

Hi and welcome Bernie.  I'd like to add my condolences along with the welcome.  Tough times ahead as a single mum but you will get lots of friendly people here to chat to and of course a lovely selection of recipes from which to choose.  One question - whatever was it which made your cat react like that  ??? ??? ???  All the best to you and your children  :-* :-*

Hi Bernie, a huge welcome from another Perthie, I think we might have to have a get together a little closer to the south soon!!  ;D

Whenever I start my TMX my two toddler girls do a huge happy dance as they know something exciting is coming.

It's funny isn't it, my younger two used to run when I made something and it was a little noisy...now they do the same, come running as it means good food lol

Glad yours are loving it already Bernie  :)

The reason I asked is that there is a person called Berniebabe on Nappycino and she lives down south way and I thought you might have been the same person, obviously not lol  :-*
