I have some ripe tomatoes and wanted a tomato puree/sauce recipe. Has any one tried cooked tomato conserve from EDC and if so is it good one to use, any other thoughts? thanks Rainbow :)

I have just made Cathy's sauce (the bbq version) and it tastes very nice. You could just make the tomato one if you want to though - it is also in that recipe. :)

Thanks for the reply, I have decided to make the cooked tomato conserve from EDC with 1 kilo of tomatoes and use the rest on the tomato sauce and pizza sauce so I will have a variety of sauce etc to use. ;)
