Title: My Hot chocolate
Post by: Sinead on March 19, 2010, 09:22:56 am
Just a one portion recipe for when you are home alone  ;)

45gr 70% Cocoa Chocolate
50gr Sugar
350gr Milk
1 heap tsp plain flour

I didn't grate the choc as Bub was asleep and found there was no need to, just break in to chunks. Put the butterfly in and add all ingredients. 6min/90deg/sp3.

The flour just gives a bit of silk to the finish. This amount of milk means i fill my fav mug with no left overs.. feel free to tweak.

That must be some mug you've got there Sinead  :o :o :o  I read this then went straight out and made it but ended up with 1 large mugful plus a smaller one as well which is good with all those calories in there :D :D  I cut the sugar by half for my taste. A nice winter warmer for sure although it is far from that here in Adelaide tonight.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sinead.  Wonder if cornflour or arrowroot may be an idea as it would give the silkiness but mix in faster and less "floury" taste.

Hmm, true. I would prob drop cornflour down to 1/2tsp at most though.

I should clarify 'home alone' as 'the only one awake'  :P
