Title: Hot Cross Buns - QUESTION?!

Hello

I found a beautiful Cross Bun Recipe -one of the ingredients are 40g mixed peel 
Could someone explain me what this is???

Isi, mixed peel is candied or glace fruit.  You can buy it here in Australia in small packets but if you want to make your own, read this

A lot of people don't like mixed peel in their hot cross buns, particularly children so many of us just leave it out.
