Atholl brose is easy and tasty. Cranachan is easy too - google to get some ideas and if tey are suitable then we can help.
Depends on how mcuh whiskey you want to drink.
The atholll brose can be a drink or pudding or like a syllabub.
You could make clootie dumplings too if it were Christmas.
Tablet is so sickly sweet, but not sure that the TMX would get to a high enough temp to cook it?
Cock-a leekie soup would be good, but don't think sheep's head broth would win many fans.
Atholl brose syllabub is my fav.

yum thanks thermomixer for your great suggestions.
just googled atholl brose and cranachan and they sound yummo. cock-a-leekie soup sounds like it would be easy to convert.
hmm you might be right about the sheep's head broth thermomixer, not a crowd pleaser!!!

How can you go past short bread made in one of those old wooden molds with a scotch thistle pattern? Just been looking at them on ebay. ;) I have a scotish cook book from the CWA when they featured Scotland for their International day a few years ago. Recipes as follows:
Scotch Broth
Cock-a-Leekie
Sweet Mutton Hot Pot & Dumplings
Clapshot
Rumbledethumps
Scotch Eggs
Collops of Beef
Forfar Bridies
Cabbie Claw
Buttermilk Bread
Scottish Brown Bread
Tomato & Apple Chutney
Whiskey & Chocolate Crunch
Treacle & Marmalade Tart
Queen Mary's Tart
Hard Sauce for Plum Pudding
Clovtie DumplingTreacle Scones
Shortbread
Dundee Cake
Oatmeal Bannocks
