Title: Feelin' the Thermomix love
Post by: RubyRoo on August 04, 2010, 06:37:17 pm
Well I've finally taken the plunge and joined.   Have popped in here now and then browsing for recipes, and have finally found a minute to join up so I can become more a part of things around here.

I've owned my Thermomix for about 16 months, and am so in love it that a few months ago I became a Thermomix consultant!   My friends kept urging me to become a consultant after I raved on and on about it.   I love it for so many reasons....top of my list would have to be health.   I have a real passion for healthy eating.   We eat predominantly organic, and completely preservative/additive free.   I am also really interested in raw food, and have dabbled with that quite a bit more since having the Thermomix.

Of course I also love all the other things that go with owning a Thermomix....saving lots of time, money, the lessened environmental impact created by using less power and less packaging, etc.

I would not have called myself a cook in my pre-Thermomix days (just didn't have the time), but it really has revolutionised my kitchen, and now I turn out all sorts of things that I never would have dreamed of doing.

I live in Perth, WA, and have a 4yr old daughter and a nearly 13yr old step-daughter.   Looking forward to meeting you all and sharing our knowledge and experiences.  :)

Hi RubyRoo, how lovely of you to join us.  I love to see consultants on this forum as they then get the message out there amongst their customers that we actually exist. It is a great place to be, you'll love it here and will learn things you can share with your customers.  Hopefully you can share some of your hints and recipes with us in the future too.

Hi and welcome RubyRoo. I have to ask the all important question that all Perthies ask? Are you a NOR or SOR?
Enjoy your machine.

Thanks for your welcomes!  :)
cookie1, I'm a SOR (quite SOR infact).
judydawn, are you a consultant too?
Looking forward to getting to know you all, and sharing our experiences.

I made hollandaise sauce for the first time tonight, and couldn't believe how well it turned out!   I have an upcoming demo for a commercial kitchen, and they asked me to demonstrate that (in addition to a whole lot of other things), so needed to practise it first!   I am constantly amazed at the capabilities of my little kitchen friend!  :)

No RubyRoo, I am not a consultant - just an avid TMX user  :) :)
