Hello! Does anyone have a recipe for chocolate topping, or a runny chocolate sauce to drizzle over fruit or icecream - one that can be made ahead and stored for a while in the fridge, rather than making fresh each time?

Hi KJH - This is the one I keep in the fridge for ice-cream topping and for making chocolate milk. ;)

It is even more topping like if you use Raw Cacao powder instead of cocoa ;) ;)

If you make up a thin white sauce (bechamel) as per EDC instructions but a little less flour. Cook it out well and then add some sugar and pieces of chocolate and cook for a few minutes on 60 deg it should work out.

Thats a great idea Thermomixer - thanks! Will try this weekend.

I have had to give up cacao powder. It keeps me wide awake at night even if I have it at morning tea time. I've never had coffee, coke etc so perhaps I'm just not used to stimulants.
I made the brownie milk today for the first time and we love it. Tonight I served it with vanilla ice cream from the EDC (whipped 3 times to make it extra creamy) and we adored it! ;D

oh that's interesting Chelsea, I might have to pay attention and make sure it isn't happening to anyone in this house. :o :o especially the little ones!
Though I could do with inhaling it and it having that effect at the moment :D :D :D
