Hi everyone,
In several recipes now I have seen the instruction to drop things (garlic, herbs etc) onto running blades - how is this different to just putting things into the jug and starting up the blades?

Karen with the tm 21 this is how you chopped things. Some people find it produces a finer, mire even chop. I personally just put things in the bowl first. The only time I drop through the hole in the lid is when I am chopping my scraps for my bokashi bucket. Hope that helps

I do what Meagan does KJH but occasionally, when I remember, if only chopping small items like garlic or a few herbs I use the old dropping onto the blades method.

Thanks for that explanation ....... I have been forgetting to drop things onto the blades, and was wondering if it really made a big difference.
