I have tried both recipes and I think I prefer the one in My Way of Cooking. Just wondering what anyone else's preference is. For me, EDC was more doughy (if that's a word) and the My Way was crispier.
-
Haven't tried the one in MWOC but will try and give it a go this weekend. Certainly like the EDC one but if the other is crispier then thats for me ;)
-
Thanks for that Woerd, I'll try the MWOC next time.

Would someone kindly post the MWOC dough recipe please (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-signs001.gif) (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)
I don't have that book and would love to try it......I use the EDC one often, and would like to see the difference.

Oh, me too, please :) :) :) I was thinking the same thing last night when we had EDC pizzas, that they are a bit doughey. But I don't have another pizza dough recipe, so would love a copy of the MWOC one!
Thanks in advance

The recipe for the pizzas in the MWOC says to make a batch of calzone dough (pge 128 same book) which is
220g lukewarm water
1 tsp sugar or 1 tsp malt
20g fresh yeast
400g flour
30g extra virgin olive oil plus some extra
1 tsp salt
Place water, sugar and fresh yeast into mixing bowl. Mix 20 sec/speed 2. Add flour, EVOO and salt and knead 2 mins on knead setting. Place dough into a lightly oiled large bowl and form into a ball shape. Cover bowl with cling film & let it rise for 2 hours.

Thanks muchly Judy :-* I'm guessing instead of fresh yeast, the packet stuff will suffice?

Yes that would be 10g dry wouldn't it?
