Hi everyone
well I am now officially confused. I hope I am posting this to the introduction area.
I am waiting for my Thermomix training and to receive my machine. To get myself set up I thought I would start by building myself an electronic cookbook by downloading recipes. I have managed to download and store nearly 500 and are still finding recipes I want to download. Being a cookbook junkie I don't ever think I will finish but I have decided to move with the times and create my electronic cookbook so that I can view recipes on an ebook reader. I think this will keep me amused for a while.
Thanks for all the recipe posts - I have found some real gems amongst them.
I do have one request and that is for curry spice recipes. I have plenty of ones I use now but will have to work on converting them but am looking for some to use in the interim. I have downloaded what I can see on this forum but would be grateful for more.
Thanks everyone and I look forward to being a member of this forum.

Hi bigbok, welcome to the forum. Yes you have posted in the correct place. Glad to hear you are pleased with the recipes on the forum, I have tried over 200 of them so far but have many more to go and they are growing by the day as our new enthusiastic members start posting their conversions. Where are you living, in Australia or overseas? It may pay you to order the Indian cookbook with your machine as there are different curry spice recipes in there that may interest you. How much longer before your machine gets delivered? Sounds like you have got plenty to do in the meantime. Enjoy the experience.

thanks Judy
From Tasmania. I will eventually get the Indian cookbook as I have a vegetarian daughter who likes spices.
I am most impressed by some of the recipes - am madly finding bread ones at the moment as enjoy making bread.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum bigbo and the TMX experience - you will certainly find many hours of reading and copying into your e-recipe book. I hope that you enjoy your experiences as much as everyone else on the forum.
Cheers - Robyn :) :)

Hi there, I'm trying to work out how to introduce myself and I've got a feeling that right now I'm replying to one person rather than introducing myself to the whole forum!!
Just in case I've got this right..... I've just received my Thermomix. I haven't even got it out of the box yet!! I was given a demonstration about 9 months ago and have been saving ever since and now that I've finally got it I feel rather overwhelmed!!
I'm english, living in Spain with 2 young children and another on the way and thought that the Thermomix might help me out with my daily cooking.
If this isn't getting to the whole forum could you let me know how to post to the section [Introduce myself) , thanks xx
Bex,
Spain

Hi Bigbok and welcome. Have fun cooking with all the wonderful recipes on here when your TMX arrives!!
Rebecation, only the people who click on Bigbok's topic 'New to this' will see your post. To start your own post go to "Introduce Yourself" and then click on "new topic" and then you can write your introduction and it will go on the main page. (I hope I've explained this write ;)) I was a bit overwhelmed when my TMX arrived too, but was advised to start small with the recipes in the Australian EDC and on the forum. It was great advice and now am trying out so many more recipes. Enjoy :)
