Title: Sugar syrup

Has anyone made sugar syrup for cocktails in their thermo?

The recipe I have made before the old fashioned way, is for 4tbs water + 4tbs caster sugar. Stir on stovetop on low heat until sugar dissolved, bring to boil and boil for 2 min without stirring.

Any ideas?

This is no help at all, sorry: I still make my sugar syrup on the stove!

Since we're talking sugar syrup, I can highly recommend using palm sugar to make the syrup, it is just lovely.
