I have been drooling about owning a Thermomix for some years. I stupidly purchased a US version which won't work in Australia (240V) so I have had to list on ebay in US.
I can't believe how dumb I was (I am blonde!! ;D) so if you know anyone who wants to buy second hand??????
If you know anyone who wants to sell their Australian one . . . I am ready, willing and able.

All is not totally lost gadgetmumma.
You can buy a step down transformer, that will allow you to use U.S. appliances here....like this one http://www.flanagan.com.au/stepdown.htm

You will have to make sure you get the correct unit. Search the internet to compare units and prices.
They are not a cheap item, a bit bulky, but it will save you the hassle of selling yours. You are more likely to sell it on ebay (worldwide), but will have to factor in postage as well, which will not be cheap.
Unfortunately you are not the only one to be caught with the voltage difference before.
