What is a pie maker?
-
It is an electric 'gadget' that you put pastry into, then the pie filling and then pastry on top and close the machine and it cooks the pie for you. They usually make 2 or 4 pies at a time.

Thanks cookie1, I am really bad at explaining things . ;D

I always save my left over spaghetti bolognaise to use a second night in the pie maker!

*chuckles* and there I was just looking to see if someone had done a Mince Tart (what we call mince meat & pastry, in Northern Ireland) recipe for the Thermomix. I love serving it with Lemony Cous Cous as a contrast.
Recipe is slightly different than I'm used too, more used to poss carrot and onion in it and no Spinach, otherwise the same (stock and red wine also optional extras). Thanks for sharing.
Off to find a puff pastry recipe now :)

hi
Yes I normally add veggies and curry to but I think it’s nice to have a basic recipe on forums
For the young ones that do not know where to start from.
Would be nice to have a basic recipe section
