Did half the recipe for our lunch using the meat from 2 pork forequarter chops and only cooking it 20 minutes instead of 40 mins.
Used sambal oelek instead of a fresh chilli & thickened it slightly with cornflour. I think I might have put a bit too much sambal oelek in but apart from that, it was really nice and I look forward to doing it again and varying the recipe by using different vegies and sauces. Took me longer to cut the meat from the chops than it did to cook the whole recipe so will probably use a boneless cut next time. 4/5 due to the heat but that's my fault not the recipe - 5/5 for the method.

Sounds good JD. One I was looking at.
Not sure if there were enough recipes I fancy in the book to justify the cost though.
Overall how do you find it?
(I was going to go for the half price deal with a varoma demo this month but being January and school holidays haven't had a chance to have one at all).

I don't have the book Zan. Someone who knows I like pork was kind enough to send me the recipe.
I have since been given a copy of this book so hopefully will be able to do more reviews as time goes by.
