Title: Cooking Competition
Post by: dede on March 04, 2011, 09:59:39 am
Hi everyone, My 11 year old Daughter is entering a cooking competition at her school and wants to cook something that will be a real winner but we not sure what to make. Needs to be a cake, biscuits, slice or cupcake. She will be using the TM.
Any ideas on a real yummy (not to difficult) recipe.

Thanks in advance

Smartie Biscuits (http://bushgourmand.blogspot.com/2010/06/smartie-biscuits.html)!! You can buy the Mini M & M's and they work a treat.

These are delicious, crispy bickies that everyone loves. Easy to make. They do spread on the baking sheet, so remember to space them well apart.

Look in the kids and babies section.  Depending on the judges if they are looking for  something yummy, but healthy the iron booster balls or the chocolate truffles are great - very easy too.

Yo-Yos. They are a lovely short biscuit and can be sandwiched together with an orange cream or something similar.
